The work creates an abstract play of light that reflects the transition from the Holocene to the Anthropocene—our current geological time. Imperceptible yet constant shifts in light and geometry drive the piece forward, underscoring how subtle changes in geological time can escape the naked eye, while their cumulative effects become transformative over millennia.
Through geometrical representation and gradual color change, the installation takes a sensorial approach to depicting these transformations. Light becomes both medium and metaphor: a way to attune to the nearly invisible rhythms of planetary time, and to perceive the imperceptible as presence.
